In 1929, a German entrepreneur named Muller laid the foundations of what is today the Bardar Winery, building a small distillery in the commune. Already in the 40s, the small distillery had turned into a real factory for the production of distillates and wines. Currently, Vinaria is in the TOP 3 wine producers in the Republic of Moldova. The company produces Divinuri – wine distillates aged 3 years, 5 years, 7 years, 10 years, 15 years, 20 years.

This process is known as coupling. The Winery’s specialists who deal directly with these products have over 25 years of experience. The village of Bardar is 15 km from Chisinau and 10 km from Hîncești. Two of the 3 legends of the village are related to the bard and the forest, the bard being a strictly male instrument. The location of the Winery was not accidental, it is located in the Codriri area, the heart of the white grape vineyards. This area includes the center of the country and 52,500 ha of vineyards. Fragmented relief of valleys, valleys and many small rivers. Oak and linden forests occupy 25% of the territory, influencing the microclimate of the region.
